I have changed the manufacturing process in  regards to the plastic film that is applied to the scope cover lenses.  Shoot-Thru ships with this film in place to ensure that the consumer receives their lenses in a perfect condition.  The idea is for any scratches a on the lenses is up to the user to do, hopefully when navigating thick cover in hunting game.

This protective film is supplied on the material and is kept in place throughout the manufacturing process.  Unfortunately after stamping a lens out this film can be difficult to remove.  After a series of experimenting a process was discovered where this film is applied leaving a gap in the film that in turn is easy to get a finger nail under the film for removal.
